Bull Sharks
Experience one of the ocean's most thrilling and respectful encounters in their natural habitat. Contrary to myths, bull sharks are not attracted to human blood; they are majestic, calm animals with whom you will learn to coexist in complete safety under the strict guidance of our expert instructors. This dive is exclusively designed for advanced divers with a minimum of 25 logged dives, ensuring excellent buoyancy control. Furthermore, by diving with us, a portion of your dive directly contributes to the protection and conservation of this species in the Riviera Maya. Cozumel
This magical island located opposite the Riviera Maya is one of the top 10 diving sites in the world according to the words of Jacques Cousteau himself. The crystal clarity of its water, the temperature, and the majestic giant coral formations are very difficult to see elsewhere; the current tends to be stronger than on our local reefs, and one of the dives is along the wall, the point where the continental shelf ends in a nearly vertical angle, allowing you to see the immensity and depth of the ocean in all its splendor. The biodiversity here is similar to that of our local reefs, but everything is bigger.

Frequently Asked Questions.
Yes, recreational scuba diving is a very safe activity when practiced within established standards and guidelines. At Coral Dive School, we train under the strict international standards of Scuba Diving International (SDI). You will always dive with certified, experienced professionals using modern, well-maintained equipment tailored to your level.
Captaincy of the Port is the organization responsible for marine activities. This state entity constantly monitors the weather with forecasts and real-time measurements to decide whether the port closes and activities are suspended or continue for our enjoyment. In the event that the port is closed, you can reschedule the day, change the dive site, or suspend all activity; in that case, we will do whatever is most convenient for you.
The most important thing to bring is a desire for adventure. All the necessary equipment for the activity is included, so you don’t have to worry about a thing. If you like, you can bring your personal towel and biodegradable sunscreen, as regular sunscreen is not allowed because it damages the coral reef. Swimwear is recommended.
Depending on the condition you have or have had, diving may or may not be possible. If you have any doubts, feel free to contact us and we will put you in touch with a diving physician. You can also consult your regular doctor and ask them about the activity; in that case, they will need to provide you with a medical certificate explicitly stating that you are fit to dive.
