Preguntas frecuentes
To start the Cavern Diver level, an Advanced Open Water certification and good buoyancy control are required. For Intro to Cave and Full Cave, holding the previous certification and having an advanced command of techniques, gas management, and the Sidemount course is mandatory.
Cavern diving is always conducted within the natural light zone, at a maximum depth of 30 meters, using a continuous line as a guide, without crossing physical restrictions, and strictly without mandatory decompression. Cave diving allows complex penetrations beyond sunlight, with the option for decompression profiles and advanced navigation.
A specialized configuration is required to guarantee gas redundancy, such as Sidemount or double tanks (Twinsets), primary and secondary lights, reels, a navigation kit, and thermal suits appropriate for cave temperatures.
Yes, it is strictly mandatory to have an active international dive insurance that explicitly covers technical and cave diving activities (such as DAN or similar options) before conducting any underground dive.
Our courses and programs are backed by SDI and TDI standards. If you already hold a cave certification from another recognized technical agency (such as IANTD, NSS-CDS, or GUE), it is fully valid for your guided dives.
